Advantage Credit Counseling Service is a customer satisfaction orientated non-profit organization headquartered in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. We have been successfully assisting consumers with debt and financial problems for over 43 years. We provide expert financial education, credit counseling, bankruptcy counseling and an effective debt management program. AdvantageCCS would like to announce that we have reached 10,000 Fans on our Facebook Business Page.
By the end of March 2012, our brand page on Facebook, Advantage Credit Counseling, reached 10,000 Fans when a new fan named Abby clicked the "Like" button. We couldn't let this benchmark go by unobserved. While the number of Fans isn't the most important metric in measuring social media, it's a milestone nonetheless. Our Facebook Page has been an important tool in helping to educate people about personal finance, debt management and the wise use of credit. Our true metric for success is in helping people and communities understand the importance of financial stability and helping them get there.

Advantage Credit Counseling Service, Inc. (ACCS) has recently been approved by the Executive Office for the U.S. Trustee (EOUST) to expand its pre-filing bankruptcy counseling services to 13 new states for consumers who intend to file Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcies. A basic condition under the bankruptcy law stipulates that consumers must receive mandatory credit counseling from an approved agency within 180 days prior to filing for bankruptcy. This provision of federal bankruptcy law ensures that individuals understand all of their options and that they have the necessary knowledge and tools to develop a sound financial plan for the future.
